This shuttle runs between the Balboa Park BART Station and the Brisbane - Crocker Industrial Park area office buildings during commute hours, with the exeption of serving the Bayshore Caltrain Station in the afternoon, Monday through Friday. BART Employer Shuttles are funded in part by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District's Fund for Clean Air, SamTrans, San Mateo County Transit District, San Mateo County Transportation Authority - Measure "A" Funds and the participating employers listed above. Shuttles are open to the general public, but a shuttle pass is required.

In an effort to better control costs and provide a greater benefit to participation in the shuttle consortium, the Brisbane / Crocker Park Employer Shuttle route has been chosen for a pilot shuttle pass program. Effective December 13, 2004, passes will be required to board the buses.

Employees of contributing companies should contact their Employee Transportation Coordinator to receive their passes.

Residents can receive their complimentary passes from the Brisbane City Hall.

If your employer is not a contributing member of the Brisbane Shuttle Consortium, have your Employee Transportation Coordinator contact Karen Sumner for information on joining the group. She can be reached at 650.588.8170 or e-mailed.

Employees of non-contributing companies may purchase a semi-annual pass in advance from the Alliance. Contact the Alliance Shuttle Department at 650.588.1600.

SHUTTLE STOP DESCRIPTION AT STATIONS:
The shuttle stop at the Balboa Park BART station is located on the SW corner of Geneva & San Jose, below the cyclone fence.

The shuttle stop at the Bayshore Caltrain station for the afternoon Caltrain service is located on Tunnel Road in front of the recycling center directly across the street from the station.

5/7/08 - REVISED MORNING SERVICE ROUTING - EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
The morning BART routing is being slightly revised EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.

When the Alliance tested the new schedule timing, traffic delays along Bayshore Blvd. were not observed at the levels that the service has experienced consistently this week. These traffic delays are causing some morning trips to operate as much as 20 minutes late.

To remedy this, we are modifying the outbound shuttle route leaving Brisbane. The buses will now return to Balboa Park BART via Geneva rather than taking Bayshore Blvd. to US-101 & I-280. As a result, there will no longer be service to the stops on Bayshore Blvd. north of Geneva. This is expected to have little to no impact on the ridership. The morning shuttle timing will remain as previously scheduled.

The afternoon service remains unchanged. We apologize for any inconvenience this last minute change may cause.

HOW TO USE THE TIMETABLE: Locate a "lettered" time point, shown in bold text, on the map prior to where you want to board the shuttle. Find the same "lettered time point on the schedule. The departure and arrival times are listed under each time point. Expect the bus to arrive at or shortly after the time associated with the selected time point.

Shuttle Pass Program
Beginning on December 13, 2004, the Brisbane Crocker Park Employer shuttle will be an EXCLUSIVE benefit for Brisbane residents and participating Brisbane employers. For information, contact the Alliance's shuttle department at (650) 588-8170 or via email.

Residents:
Brisbane residents can pick up an annual pass, AT NO COST, from Brisbane City Hall, after simply showing proof of residency.

Students residing in Brisbane will need to obtain a shuttle pass.

Employers:
Passes will be provided semi-annually to participating Brisbane employers, for distribution to their employees.

Contact the ALLIANCE to receive a Shuttle Pass Request form to purchase a semi-annual pass.

A photocopy of a valid driver's license or state ID is required for check or money orders submitted by mail. Please allow two weeks for pass delivery.



Brisbane/Crocker Business Park Shuttle Service Holiday
The Brisbane/Crocker Business Park Shuttle observes a number of holidays each year. On these "Service Holidays," this route will not be in operation. Following is the list of City Approved non-service days:

New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

In addition to the days listed above, BART and/or Caltrain operate limited service on President's Day and the day after Thanksgiving. On these two days, the Brisbane shuttle will observe a reduced schedule. Only Bus B will operate. Bus A will NOT be in service. Please refer to the schedule to determine which trips are served by Bus B. Unless noted elsewhere, the shuttle will maintain its normal schedule on days not observed as "Shuttle Holidays".
