This shuttle operates between the Hillsdale Caltrain Station and Campus Drive area office buildings during commute hours as well as serving residents along West Hillsdale Boulevard between Campus Drive and El Camino. Caltrain Employer Shuttles are funded in part by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District's Transportation Fund for Clean Air, Peninsula Joint Powers Board, San Mateo County Transportation Authority and the participating employers listed above. City of San Mateo Shuttle Service Holidays
The City of San Mateo Campus Driver Area Shuttle observes a number of holidays each year. On these "Service Holidays," this route will not be in operation. Following is the list of City Approved non-service days:

New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

In addition to the days listed above, BART and/or Caltrain operate limited service on President's Day and the day after Thanksgiving. Unless noted elsewhere, the shuttle will maintain its normal schedule on days not observed as "Shuttle Holidays".
