Bicycling
A Healthier Commute
Bicycling is an efficient, low-cost commute alternative that increases safety, improves health, relieves traffic congestion, and reduces pollution. Biking is good for both you and your community!
Commute.org provides a variety of services and programs to support bicyclists:
- $100 reward for bicycling to work
- free bike safety workshops
- coverage of bicylists under the Guaranteed Ride Home program
We also celebrate National Bike Month throughout May, with Bike to Work Day and the month-long Bay Area Bike Challenge on the Love to Ride Platform. Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition and San Francisco Bicycle Coalition offer plenty of resources, programs, and events to support bicycling in the region.
Spring 2020 Bicycle Education Webinar Series
Commute.org partnered with Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition (SVBC) to produce a 5-week series of webinars focused on bicycling. The experts at SVBC offered valuable information on topics such as safety tips and bike commuting to help you feel more confident as a rider.
